Furnishings were selected to blend modern German and American design and the historical design connection the two countries share. The German influence on modernism in the United States was fostered through Bauhaus emigrants such as Mies Van Der Rohe, Breuer and Gropius. This International Style evolved in America as designers such as Eames and Saarinen and manufacturers such as Herman Miller and Knoll brought modern American design to the marketplace. As this design legacy continues today, contemporary German and American designers are included in the furniture selections.

General Office: The primary pieces are Knoll Studio designs, including the workstations, the task chair, filing and the private office seating groups.

Executive Area: The furnishings for this floor will include various classic modern pieces. The reception area will have a Mies Barcelona seating group upholstered in suede saddle leather. The State Room seating will also have saddle leather upholstered Brno chairs. Seating groups will be cotton velvet Pfister- designed lounge groupings with Florence Knoll glass side and cocktail tables.

The Lodge: The furnishings in the lodge will include wood Eames dining chairs, tables and molded wood coffee tables. The seating group around the fireplace will sit on a Native American inspired modern wool rug. Furnishings in this area will be modern with warmer, more tactile fabrics for comfortable gathering for employees.
